Lemon Cheesecake

Base

Apple

1 Packet Biscuits

2 tblsp light brown sugar

100-200g melted butter

Crush Biscuits, add sugar and melted butter and press flat into the bottom of a lined loose bottom tin. Place in fridge to set.

Filling

1 tin Condensed Milk

400g Cream Cheese

5 Lemons (Juice and grated Zest)

2.5 tsp Gelatine - dissolved in 2 tblsp boiling water

250 ml Double Cream

Beat Condensed milk and Cream Cheese until smooth, add in Double Cream and beat until smooth. Add in Lemon zest and juice and finally the gelatine.
Pour over base and place in refrigerator, for best results leave to set for 24 hours. Enjoy!!

Apple Crumble

Firstly, peel and chop the apples and cook on the stove with some water and sugar to taste, once cooked place in an ovenproof dish (if there is too musc water still in the mix just drain some off.

Crumble

400g Plain Flour

200g oats

100g Desiccated Coconut

200g Brown Sugar

100g White Sugar

200g butter

Mix all dry ingredients and rub in the butter till it resembles fine breadcrumbs, spread over the apples and bake in oven (180oC) for 15 to 20 minutes.

This apple crumble is also really nice with a tin of "Forest Fruits" through it, just ad in with the apples once they are cooked - you may need wee bit more sugar as this can sometimes be quite bitter.

6 medium-sized apples, red ones only
3 honey bananas (small and freckled preferably)
3 peeled frozen bananas
3 spoons of white sugar
¼ cup of plain yogurt

First, peel the apples and run them into the juicer. Collect the apple residue from the retaining basin and run it again by the juicer in order to maximize the sap extraction. Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken
o 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, 1/2 " thick
o honey mustard
o 6 slices bacon, sliced in half
o 1/2 teaspoon McCormick's Season All
o 1 cup sliced mushrooms, drained
o 3 cups shredded colby or monterey jack cheese

Apple

Rub chicken breast with Seasonal All and set aside to marinate for 1 hour.
While the breast is marinating fry bacon crisp and drain.
Sauté chicken breasts on medium heat in pan with just enough oil to prevent sticking.
Cook on both sides until a slight golden color and cooked in the middle but not dry.
Remove from pan and place in a 9 x 13 dish.
Spread chicken breast with honey mustard, cover with a layer of mushrooms, three pieces of bacon and then sprinkle with shredded Colby/jack cheese, chicken should be covered with shredded cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
Sprinkle with parsley and extra honey mustard may be served on the side.

Outback Steakhouse Bloomin' Onion
4 Vidalia or Texas Sweet Onions
Batter:
1/3 C. Cornstarch
1 1/2 C. Flour
2 tsp. Garlic -- minced
2 tsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Pepper
24 oz. Beer

Seasoned Flour:
2 C. Flour
4 tsp. Paprika
2 tsp. Garlic powder
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1/4 tsp. Cayenne pepper
Mix cornstarch, flour, and seasonings until well blended. Add beer,
mix well.
Cut about 3/4" off top of onion and peel. Cut into onion
12 to 16 vertical wedges, but do not cut through bottom root end.
Remove about 1" of petals from center of onion. Dip onion in seasoned
flour and remove excess by shaking. Separate petals and dip in batter
to coat thoroughly.
Gently place in fryer basket and deep-fry at
375 to 400 1 1/2 minutes.
Turn over, and fry an additional 1 1/2 minutes.
Drain on paper towels.
Place onion upright in shallow bowl and remove center core with circular
cutter or apple corer. Serve hot with Creamy Chili Sauce.
Creamy Chili Sauce:
1 pint Mayonnaise
1 pint Sour cream
1/2 C. Chili sauce
1/2 tsp. Cayenne pepper

Outback Steakhouse-Style Steak
4 top sirloin steaks or rib eye steaks or filet steaks
seasoning
8 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1. Mix together seasoning ingredients and rub into each side of steak.
2. Grill steaks on a large frying pan over medium-high heat; press down on steak with spatula or tongs to sear the edges.

Apple

Taking its name from Cortland County, New York, this is a mid-season apple variety that comes out in mid-September. RED DELICIOUS

A late-season apple harvested in mid-October, the Red Delicious was at some point considered by some as The Great American Apple. Commonly eaten out of hand, the reasons for its name are perhaps obvious.

SPARTAN

The product of scientific breeding, the Spartan is a cross between the McIntosh and as yet unspecified apple variety. With dark-red, white-spotted skin, and ranging in size from medium to large, ithis all-purpose apple is sweeter and more crisp than its parent the McIntosh.
